MonBUG 2nd year launch symposium
– Thursday September 3rd, 2009

In order to start it’s activities on the right foot, MonBUG had decided the first activity of it’s second season would be a one-day symposium featuring invited and local speakers as well as student speakers selected on the basis of the quality of their presented posters

The day was a complete success and the MonBUG DevTeam would like to extend their gratitude to all the speakers, attendees and exhibitors.

We hope to see you again during our monthly meetings !

Thanks for inviting me to participate. I really enjoyed the day ! I learned a lot as well, which always makes me feel that it was time well spent. –great meeting!!
— Dr. Elaine Mardis, WUSTL Genome Sequencing Center

Thank you for having me at the conference. It was a great opportunity to meet with students and colleagues with whom I’ve previously only had email contact. The entire staff for the conference was extremely helpful and kind. I wish you luck as you launch your second year.
— Dr. Heather Peckham, ABI / LifeTechnologies

I would like to thank you for organizing such an event. It has already generated several interactions in my field from feedbacks that I received following the presentation. The diversity of the attendees allowed for trans-disciplinary discussions that were extremely rich.
— Dr. Claude Robert, Université Laval
